Led into a hidden, ancient mansion that defies the surrounding modern world, the poet is introduced to a terrifying reality. His enigmatic host possesses a sinister, centuries-old power: the ability to tear down the walls of time and look directly into both the forgotten past and the horrific, monstrous future of the city. But as the visions grow more intense and chaotic, the poet realizes that his eccentric guide is bound to a gruesome cosmic debt that is about to come due.
