Thirty years after the gods reduced Tokyo to rubble, survivors set out to answer a seemingly impossible question"”how do you kill a god? Just as Waka is getting her bearings with the Anti-God Research Institute, she and the other researchers are attacked by a massive snake god and Waka is abducted! Meanwhile, Tokinaga is drowning in guilt over a number of lives that were lost in the attack.
